STUDENT GUARDIANSHIP SERVICES

G5 Education's provides a Guardianship Service to international students. Parents who are based overseas and have children under the age of 18 and studying at boarding schools can use our services.

We provide both guardianship and homestay services. G5 mentors are reliable and responsible, they empathise with the children that are living away from home and their parents concerns while they are away. They are committed to keeping very close and regular communications between student, parents, schools. Some of our homestay student mentors are teachers themselves and often provide extra help with school work and study support.

We have a growing number of schools, families and students that have all been very happy with our work and trust us with their children.

All G5 Mentor's have completed the Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students (AEGIS) Safeguarding and Child Protection training course. All G5 student mentor's have passed relevant background checks (DBS/ACRO).

Guardianship Service

YOU NEED A GUARDIAN? SEE OUR SERVICE...

Take a look at our guardianship basic package, you may want some or all of the services, add any item to your package:

AIRPORT MEET & GREET

Clients are met at arrivals hall by the Guardian. Guardians will transport students (and families) to the school you are attending. Guardians will check clients in with the school office and wait with you until you are comfortable.

SCHOOL LIAISON

Guardian's will liaise with the school on parents behalf. Depending on the clients wishes, Guardians can attend school meetings. Parent/Teacher Meetings, and other School Events on behalf of parents and they will report back to parents.

AIRPORT COLLECT & DEPART

During school breaks, Guardians will collect students at school, transport them to elected UK departures airport. At the airport Guardians will assist with check in and connect the student with the under/16 airline escort services.

UK UTILITIES

Guardians will arrange with parents/school/students, dates & times to fulfil utility requirements. Guardians will assist in opening bank accounts, obtain mobile phone contracts and various other utility admin you will need in the UK.

STUDENT SUPPORT

Guardian's will keep in touch with parents and students and depending on student/parents wishes offer weekly, bi-weekly or monthly "check in" support and assistance, through out the term times.

+ STUDY SUPPORT

Some of our guardians also offer tutoring support. This can be during the week, weekends or during holidays. You can book tutoring to help with understanding coursework, homework assistance or exam preparation. This service is an optional extra .

Homestay / Study Support

YOU NEED A HOMESTAY OR EXTRA STUDY SUPPORT

With the G5 Guardianship Service you can add homestay or other additional services to the basic package. We offer weekend and holiday homestay options and a variety of school coursework study support options...

Some of our guardians offer homestay options for weekend stays. You can book your homestay's. in advance, by block booking your stay or if you prefer a more flexible options, we can offer per night rates. Flexible bookings must be booked with at least 7 days notice.

Some of our guardians also offer tutoring support in addition to weekends homestay options. Homestay students can have extra tutoring support at weekends to help you with understanding school coursework, homework assistance or exam preparation.

Some of our guardians offer homestay options for longer stays during school holiday breaks. Sometimes students just need a one night stay before traveling onward, others need a full holiday homestay. We can provide stays to suit all situations, just let us know!

Some of our guardians can tutor during the week. We run online support tutorials so students can reach us at any time especially if you are struggling with understanding coursework, help with homework or you need upcoming exam assistance.
